USC Lusk Center for Real Estate has been consistently more upbeat on the real estate market than their cross town rival UCLA Anderson Forecast, which has been calling a housing bubble in the last two years.
It is probably true that either side of the bubble debate has its merits and their audience would likely pick up what they want to hear anyways. Potential and current investors or homeowners can find some valuable data points in their analysis. But those data points and these economists' view along should not be a basis of decision making for any individuals.
